This Privacy Policy explains how Runna Media ("Runna Media," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit runnamedia.com (the "Site") or use our services. It also describes the privacy rights of California, U.S. state, and European/UK residents and how to exercise them. If you are a California resident, see California Privacy Rights. Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (to provide services you request), consent (for analytics/advertising cookies and marketing email — which you can withdraw at any time), legitimate interests (to secure and improve our Site and business), and legal obligation (to meet recordkeeping and compliance duties).

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising. On your first visit we display a consent banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2: Google analytics and advertising tags are set to a denied state by default and only load if you click Accept. If you click Decline (or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control / "Do Not Sell" signal), those Google tags remain off. You can change your choice at any time via the "Manage Cookies" or "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" links in our footer.

On our advertising landing pages (URLs beginning with /go/), which you typically reach by clicking one of our ads, we also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure ad performance. On those pages the Pixel loads by default, but we honor your choices: if you have clicked Decline on our Site, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Meta Pixel does not load. You can opt out of Meta's ad personalization at facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.

To exercise any right, email privacy@runnamedia.com (or hello@runnamedia.com), call +1 (815) 345-0055, or use our contact form. We will verify your request (typically by confirming details associated with your information) and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the rights described in Section 8, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. In the preceding 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information listed in Section 2 (identifiers, commercial information, internet/network activity, and inferences drawn for advertising). We disclose these categories to the service providers and advertising partners listed in Section 5 for the business and commercial purposes described above.

We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. Our use of advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out via Your Privacy Choices or GPC. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.

10. European & UK Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the rights described in Section 8, exercisable against us as controller (legal bases in Section 3). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Where we transfer personal information to the United States or other countries, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

11. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (including encryption in transit and access controls) to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.

12. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services (for example, our scheduling, portal, and social media links). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their privacy policies.

13. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed to businesses and are not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, we do not respond to DNT signals, but we do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as described in Your Privacy Choices.
