Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: June 30, 2026
Runna Media is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to runnamedia.com.
Our Goal
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure with landmarks and a "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users;
- Full keyboard operability for navigation, menus, video controls, and forms, with visible focus indicators;
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and accessible names for interactive controls;
- Captions and/or transcripts for videos that contain spoken audio (an ongoing effort across our library);
- Support for the operating system's "reduced motion" preference;
- Color and contrast chosen to meet WCAG AA for text; and
- An accessible cookie-consent experience.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. In particular, we are progressively adding captions and transcripts to older video content, and some third-party embedded tools (such as scheduling widgets) may not be fully under our control. We are actively working to address these areas.
